Teacher of History

We are looking to appoint a full time permanent teacher of History from September 2025. The post is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or more experienced teachers. Please see the job description below.

For a suitable candidate,  there may be an opportunity to combine this role into a head of year post.

For an informal chat with the Headteachers, please call either Sarah Gray (07910 888807) or Geoff Luxton (07593 924333) or call their PA, Gail Clay on 01379 870315 or clayg@hartismere.com.

There is no set closing date. We will hold interviews when we have received enough applications from suitably qualified applicants. If a successful appointment is not made then we will repeat the process.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. A DBS and social media checks will be required.
