Higher Education Opportunity - LAMDA's (BA Hons) Production & Technical Arts

(From LAMDA) Dear Schools,

Do you have students looking for Higher Education courses which will open a career in the exciting and vibrant creative sector across theatre, screen and live events?

There are a few remaining spaces for September 2023 entry to LAMDA's (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) industry-leading BA (Hons) degree programme in Production & Technical Arts: Stage & Screen.

Across three years, students develop all the transferable skills, knowledge and experience needed to enter the industry: capable, professional and highly sought-after by employers. Within 6 months, 98% of our graduates have found employment in a backstage role in the creative industries.

The course is highly practical. Students work alongside experienced technicians and production managers to run public-facing productions as well as screen and audio projects. Our state-of-the-art facilities include three professional working theatres, workshops, digital media spaces, and from later this year, a virtual production volume and motion capture studio.

Why choose to train in Production & Technical Arts at LAMDA?
  1. We're a world-leading drama school with a well-equipped, award-winning London campus, training the next generation of theatrical talent.
  2. Our vocational approach to training and investment in the latest technologies leaves graduates prepared to meet the demands of the industry.
  3. We offer at least 35 contact hours per week. Far higher than a traditional university course.
  4. Students benefit from our industry connections, including a guaranteed placement opportunity in a professional theatre or production company as part of the course.
  5. There are no academic entry requirements; we assess applicants on their enthusiasm for learning and existing practical experience.
If you think this course could be of interest to any students at your school, our Admissions and Technical Training Teams are available to answer questions and support them through the application process, which is both direct and via Clearing.

How To Get In Touch

Phone 020 8834 0506 to speak to our Admissions Team. Phone lines are open from 9.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays.

We very much hope this will be of interest and would be grateful if you could share this with your career's advisors.

Thank you.
