Computer Science Homework (years 7, 8 and 9)
The aim of the homework in key stage 3 is to reaffirm and, at times, extend upon the learning in lessons. They usually consist of multiple choice and/or missing word questions. Students are encouraged to make use of internet searching to assist them - this will also help to improve their ability to find, read and select reliable information online.
Homework is usually set every lesson (one lesson every 2 weeks) and is always in the same place: Hartismere Genie
Students will need to be logged in to the school website to access Genie, with due dates shown on their personal Genie page. An example is shown below.
The quickest and easiest (and the method we show in lessons) to access their Genie page is through the Students page on the school website. Again, students must ensure that they are logged into the school website (using their normal username and password).
We encourage students to speak to their computer science teacher before the due date if they are having any issues accessing their homework - we are more than happy to help.
